I study how communication occurs between patients and clinicians an how communication can facilitate better integration of health information and, ultimately, the psychological health of patients. My current research focuses on communication during post-test genetic counseling for hereditary cancer risk and how this communication can support clients' health-promoting behaviors and psychological well-being.
